Reflecting on 2024: Building the Bones of Baark.

As we wrap up another year, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on what 2024 has meant for Baark. This year, I set out with a clear vision: to build the very essence of our brand and create a strong foundation for the future. 

This year was about showcasing who we are and what we stand for, laying the groundwork for something timeless. Every product, every decision, every step forward was done with purpose and care. And as we prepare to step into 2025, I’m excited to share more about this journey with you.

Getting Personal

2024 was also a year of personal growth and transformation for me. Earlier this year, I navigated the challenges of separating from my ex partner and taking on Baark. as a solo venture. It was a daunting change, but also an opportunity to truly pour my heart and soul into this brand.

And what a journey it’s been! While there were moments of doubt, there were also moments of immense pride. Seeing Baark. grow and thrive has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It has reaffirmed my belief that when you’re passionate about something, and you approach it with authenticity and love, incredible things can happen. I’m so grateful to be doing what I love every day and to have a community of dog lovers supporting me along the way.

What’s Important to me going forward with Baark.

As I look to the future, my vision for Baark. is guided by a set of core values: to be raw, authentic, honest, and real. These are the pillars that shape every decision I make. This isn’t just a business for me; it’s my passion and my purpose. I’m here to do my best, to create with intention, and to remain true to myself.

One thing I’ve learned is the importance of focusing on my own goals and not comparing Baark. to other brands. Every journey is unique, and success isn’t about outshining others - it’s about growing into the best version of yourself. I’m committed to keeping Baark. in its own lane, fuelled by passion and a drive to make a positive impact.

This impact extends beyond products. I’m proud to use eco-conscious packaging across the board. From 100% compostable and reusable mailers to compostable order pouches and paper-based branded tags, every detail reflects my commitment to sustainability.

Our “Together We Donate” initiative also remains a cornerstone of Baark.’s mission. Giving back is deeply important to me, and I’m honoured to continue supporting causes that make a difference.
