Here’s some behind the scenes reality of running Baark.

🐾 I’m a solo business owner, juggling a full-time job, two dogs, and trying to look after my own physical and mental health. Some days I’m thriving, other days… not so much.

🐾 It’s hard not to compare Baark. to other brands, but I’m learning to focus on my journey instead of worrying about what others are doing.

🐾 Living in Queenstown is incredible, but it’s expensive! Balancing the cost of new stock with everyday life isn’t easy.

🐾 I wish I had unlimited creativity (and time) to stay active on social media, but the reality is, I don’t.

🐾 I don’t have a big marketing budget. Most of Baark.'s growth comes from you and my brilliant brand ambassadors, which I’m forever grateful for.

🐾 Baark. is my passion, my love, and what I hope will bring me freedom in the future. But alongside building this dream, I also believe in prioritising mental health, because in a world of constant scrolling, it’s so important to take care of yourself as well as your goals. What we see online isn’t the full picture.
